Overview

As accountants, advisors and consultants who work day in and day out with closely held organizations, private equity investors and select publicly held companies, our seasoned transactions team knows where to look for potential opportunities and pitfalls in any transaction. Our Transaction Services (TS) Group plays an important role with many of our clients and this group is growing! We mainly serve middle market private equity firms and large corporations on the buy side, while serving those same clients plus privately help entities on the sell side.

 

We are very excited about our growth opportunities and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial energy and commitment to client service to join our Transaction Services team! This position can be hybrid in any of the following locations: Cleveland, OH; Chicago, IL; Pittsburgh, PA; or Miami, FL (Remote).

Responsibilities

  • Provide a detailed analysis and expertise to help clients execute on their deals
  • Assist clients post-deal with training personnel, producing numbers, and implementing new processes
  • Actively and effectively engage with clients
  • Juggle 3-4 projects within one week
  • Use their technical accounting skills and feel comfortable using Excel on a daily basis
  • Utilize research skills to generate potential solutions with the engagement team
  • Work hard and have an appetite for learning
  • Effectively communicate with target company personnel and their representatives, team members, and other stake holders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years of relevant progressive experience
  • Open to a background of public accounting Assurance and/or client facing Transaction Services/due diligence experience
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills  
  • Strong external and internal communication required, due to client facing role and importance of strong partnership with internal engagement teams  
  • Initiative to learn, ask questions, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo develop strong relationships internally, and flexibility are required and keys to success

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $120,000*
